Friends

8/11/13   Today was certainly a fun filled day.   After a car ride of arrrrrg and hat the whole way to church, Brenden wanted the pirate hat at church (he knows he gets to wear it during Sunday school so he kept saying it the whole way there) we finally get there and to his room and he says it one last time runs to the box of dress up clothes and finds the hat.  He was off.  This makes it easier for mommy to leave and not feel guilty.    

After church, Brenden took me out to their huge playground area.   I didn't know but today was a cookout for all the Children's church helpers and leaders.   I was asked to stay since I will be helping with the children's church in the fall.    Of course Brenden enjoyed this since he got to stay and play for a few hours.   

Later in the afternoon we went to a friends house.   More time outside.  Yea!!!!   Brenden had a blast playing with his friend Benni and mommy got some adult time with Gretta.

All of this lead to a fun filled day for both Brenden and mommy,. Since daddy left for Wichita today it was good to be out in the fresh air and having fun to keep me from going insane.   Another great day!
