Downtown Fall festival 10/4/14

It's fall!   You can see it all around.  We ventured out to our first fall event of the year.  It was a good day.  Brenden really enjoyed himself.

First Day Kindergarten 08/27/14

Today is Brenden's first day of Kindergarten.  He is going full day and with 20 kids in his class I am sure it will be very overstimulating for him.  We did find out he will have an aide for now.   Time will tell if needs one all the time or just during this transition time.  

Last night he got to do something so he would sleep better.  His teacher gave this to us.  

Did it really help him sleep better, sure if that is the answer you were looking for.  From my perspecitve, no, he never sleeps well unless he gets Melatonin.   

Next morning off for the bus.   Look at this big boy.  Ready to go no tears.  He's like he was happy to get on the bus without mommy or daddy.

And as far as coming home, he was just as happy when he got off the bus so it must have been a good day.    For all you non parent or parent that has a child this age, it's really hard to get them to tell you what happened at school today.   They just kind of look at you like,   ummmmmm..... so him coming home happy every day and wanting to go to school everyday is good enough for me that he is liking it.

A good times with some friends 8/16/14

Good time feeding the ducks with our friends.  They had a big craft festival this day at this park but Brenden could have cared less about that.  He just wanted to feed the ducks.   One of the ducks came up and grab his hand because he would not throw the bread.   

Fire Truck, Ambulance and Helicopter....What's not to love 8/9/14

Okay yes I am so behind again.  But oh well.  That is life.   Here is a fun day we had where Brenden got to play in a fire truck, ambulance and helicopter.  We actually to got see the helicopter land.  That is was awesome!
