I am a wife to wonderful husband, Alan and a mom to a handsome boy Brenden (5 1/2). My husband and I work full time while we try to raise a fun-loving, high spirited, handsome, intelligent, wacky, makes us laugh every day young boy. We realized what life is really like when we had him. He has taught us a great deal of patience. We wouldn't know what to do without him.
Brenden has traits of Autism. He has not officially been diagnosed because he shows some traits yet he also does things that "normal" autistic kids don't. He is speech delayed so it can be hard to know what he is really thinking or just how much he really knows. His speech is really starting to take off this year. We are so proud of him and love him just the way he is.
As of April 2014 he was officially diagnosed with ASD.
I also decorate cakes! I have always loved to bake so I put my passion of baking to good use. I took classes and even taught for awhile at a local store. After teaching for awhile I realized I wanted to decorate the cakes, not just teach. I still like to teach my family and friends but my passion is creating a cake start to finish.
